Vitamin C oxidizes gradually when exposed to light, air, and water in the formula. All SkinCeuticals antioxidant formulations have been tested in final packaging and have been confirmed to remain stable and effective for 30-36 months, and up to 6 months after opening. Vitamin C serums may discolor with time, but oxidation is minimal, and the formulation is proven to remain effective.

Can I use C E Ferulic under my eyes?

Yes, you can use C E Ferulic under your eyes to help visibly reduce the look of lines and wrinkles. In contrast, we do not recommend applying it to the upper orbital area to prevent migration into the eye.

You can use C E Ferulic with retinol. Vitamin C antioxidants should be used in the morning, and retinol in the evening, unless otherwise directed by your skincare professional. Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect skin from UV-induced signs of aging and sensitivity to sunlight resulting from retinol use.

Does C E Ferulic cause peeling?

While rare, first-time users of C E Ferulic may experience light peeling. If you are a new vitamin C user, apply a small amount to a patch of skin in a discrete area and wait 24 hours before applying the product on your face. After 24 hours, you will be able to see how your skin responds.
